But then Young does come from a generation and culture where making such gestures was part of their DNA. He did this in protest at hyper-popular podcaster Joe Rogan’s continued Covid-19 anti-vaxing/conspiracy theorising on the same platform. You need to be rich and famous to do what Neil Young did in getting his music removed from Spotify.
